Any issues using the iPad as a Hot Spot for extended periods of time?

Is there any issues that may arise when using the iPad as a hot spot for an extended length of time (IE days) plugged in? Unlimited account...
 
Heat, battery drain, possible account shutdown due to overuse. The usual culprits.
 
I plan on doing at times. I have Verizon. However, I think I maybe okay. I switched my SIM card and put my MiFi hotspot into the new iPad and cancelled my new iPad plan. Since it is a hotspot account, it shouldn't be any difference. And also, since hotspot is offered free on Verizon, I would assume they would allow you up to your limit.
 
well, on mine, the screen has to stay on for the hotspot to work, anyone else experiencing this?
