Just curious. I wouldn't expect many folks that surf this forum to be into this type of thing, but I bet theres a handfull of you out there that longboard. If you do, what kind of board do you have? What kind of boarding are you into.. like bombing hills or are you really good at carving. I own a Sector 9 Tikehau 38" Board really smooth and great for hills. What about you? By the way carving is when you make swift right and left motions, kind of like in skiing, except on a longboard.

LOL I thought you meant real long boarding, such as surfing. I did and will again eventually. I had a 9' hobie, but sold it when I got fat. hah hah No really, I did sell it though.

same here had to google the board to be sure

I do both, surf and skate.

I love cruising on my Sector9 with Swiss Bones, Randall-180s, and 76mm wheels. It helps keep me sane in land-locked Ohio.

Same exact take it got. I thought, "Wow, why would anyone be cutting on a whale these days?" The action of the new equipment is light years advanced.

Yeah I have a sector 9 mini which is awesome cause you can sort of carve and it's great on campus cause its so manueverable.

i also surf, with my 5'9'' surf prescriptions shortboard.

Kebbek Jon Caften with R2s and Flys
Wefunk Lac Leman with 139 RTX/RTS and Pink Sicksicks

You guys should try broadening your horizons a bit. S9 aren't the only brand, you know.

Have a look at silverfishlongboarding.com

I'm looking into getting one. Seeing videos it reminds me a lot of snowboarding and since summer is here I need a substitute.
