Any love for Akitio Thunderbolt Drive box?

I think it's relatively new. I haven't been able to find any in-depth reviews on it, yet.

I've been considering picking one up, but I'm not sure if I can justify the price tag. Actually, I'm looking more closely at the "Duo" version that has 1 ThunderBolt port and 1 USB 3.0 port (for increased compatibility). If these enclosures work as advertised, the speeds w/ software RAID 0 SSDs would be unbeatable (~700-800MB/sec reads).

For now, though, it seems too pricey for me. I might have to settle on a USB 3.0 single-drive enclosure + SSD to save cost -- I should still manage to get 300-400MB/sec reads.
