Hi!
I just switched from a graphite iPhone 12 Pro Max to a pacific blue iPhone 12 Pro Max, as I was getting tired of the same old “space grayish” color, and wanted to add a bit of color as summer approaches.
So, along with it, I also bought myself a blue Apple Watch series 6, after having used the space grey watches ever since the very first generation and till now.
And I have to say that I really love this dark blue color. In low light, it almost looks black, and in the sun, it has a gorgeous, almost metallic, look to it.
I’m an avid watch band collector, with over 60 original Apple Watch bands in my collection and was a bit afraid that the blue watch would be hard to pair with my bands. But, I actually find that it looks good with a lot of bands (thankfully).
I have been browsing through the “show off your Apple Watch” thread and similar threads, but I hardly ever find a blue watch in the pictures.
Am I the only one who finds the blue watch good looking?
If only my iPhone 12 PM had the same blue tint as the watch.. wow, that would’ve been something.
So, if you are a happy owner of a blue Apple Watch, please let me know, so I know that I’m not alone. Also, please share what kind of band you wear with it, and what watch face you prefer.

I have a blue watch and it's my first AW. I have a product Red iPhone and thought about getting the red AW, but decided against it. Like you, I love that the blue is muted in low light situations and a beautiful hue in direct sunlight. It makes the watch super versatile.

I typically wear the blue or white band, but have recently purchased the California Poppy leather link band and it's a stunning combo with the blue watch.

I have the blue AW6 as well, and I'm now rocking a blue braided solo loop watchband for it. It looks great! It's a nice change to the sea of space gray I'm surrounded by at my desk!

I enjoy my Blue AW6 very much. In fact, my phone is blue with a blue case, my MacBooks have blue cases, and my Beats headphones are blue.

Oh no, you are not the only one. I already own a S5 SS from that other partner brand and I finally could not resist to get the blue S6. It was a hard search for a acceptable reason. It finally failed. I got it anyway because I wanted the blue one. 😇
A beautiful addition...

I too have the blue. And I really like the colour. I have the dark blue sport band which is great for casual wear, but I would really like something more ‘dress’ for when I’m at more formal events. Contrasting colours and different materials.

i trawled that long thread for ideas, but like you, found no inspiration for the blue watch.

To get it more "dress" is indeed a bit of a problem. I own quite a lot of bands leather/sports and it fits best with contrasting colors. But I would not hesitate to use the dark blue one for formal events. Looking at pictures of very formal events and the watches of people, there is huge variety of models - often non formal Apple watches...

I have and love the blue aw6 (smaller version), and funnily enough when I saw my brother the other day he’s got the larger blue one just recently too. You definitely aren’t the only one 😀

There are some restrictions, but if also offers quite an interesting variety of perfectly matching band colors to be used.

Being unable to pronounce the numbers in this system I declare it as Klingon numbers - if anyone asks 😇

Thanks for the replies so far 😊 Glad to see that I’m not the only one enjoying the blue watch. I also have the AW6 in space grey aluminum, that I used with my graphite iPhone 12 Pro Max, but so far I have not felt the urge to switch back to it. I’ve found that far more bands fit the blue watch than I first feared. And, with summer coming up, and more sunny days, I enjoy the blue colors of the phone and the watch a lot. But, I admit that I keep looking at my graphite phone and space grey watch when the skies are grey and it’s raining… but it’s too much hassle to keep changing phones and watches depending on the weather, so I think I’ll stick with the blues and just change cases/watch bands 😊

If I hadn't just purchased a Series 5 in 2019, I would have gotten a blue Series 6.
I'm just hoping that the blue will still be around the next time I upgrade the watch.

I did buy the Pacific Blue iPhone though.

Went from a SG 4 to the blue 6, because ATT didn’t have any Nike versions in stock. I tend to stay with the original blue band it came with as well as a blue Nike and Surf Blue loop.
