I know I should have waited, but I needed my air in April. I'm just over 30 days from delivery. Has anyone had any luck in exchanging or upgrading after the 14 day return period?
 
Not likely, but when they're in stock, go talk to an apple store manager.
 
absolutely, i was able to return after 35 even 40 days specially if there was a new release...call apple and talk to a manager...
 
Shot down twice by the business support staff at the apple store where I ordered my air... What's the trick? It was delivered April 22.
 
There is no "trick" its up to the manager and some managers are a bit more flexible then others. Since you're now approaching 60 days the odds of getting a sympathetic manager are decreasing rather rapidly.

Agreed. Go to different stores, and go back again later. Check your resell and consider selling as well.
