Hey guys. Had my iPhone 4 for about a week and my earphone was having some issues. Went to an apple genius and he said my water sensor was set off. There is no way this phone was submerged or had contact with excessive liquid (I'm meticulous like many of you). I'm automatically out of warranty.

Do you guys have any suggestions as to what I should do? Maybe a manager? I told the genius perhaps it was sweat or possibly rain or even condensation and he said it's unlikely. I am really bothered to know that a bs sensor voided my warranty. I would appreciate your help.

Thanks.
