I have the opportunity to get a great intel quad core processor for a great price. Problem is, its only the processor and I need to build a pc around it. My preference would be to get a low-end mac and drop in a ridiculously fast CPU but I don't know much about CPU and board compatibility. Can anyone tell me if any mac today (used or new) can support the following intel processors:
Q9300
QX9650
Is it possible/legal/advisable to do this with a mac, or should i just bite the bullet and build a (blah) pc?!
