Any media player which does not trigger the nVidia ?

Hi,
I found the Apple's implementation of the graphic switching poor because we cannot force the OS to use the Intel only. I just realized that VLC enables the nVidia and which su***. When I'm on a long train journey I need as much battery as possible and watching movies on the nVidia will reduce it.

Is there a video player which do not use the nVidia ?
