HomePod Any metal fan HomePod owners?

Reviews only help so much when no one really listens to heavy tunes. How does the HomePod sound with metalcore, deathcore, etc.?

I listen to some hardcore/grindcore. I don't like the new EQ settings since iOS 16 on either the minis or the HomePod 1. They brought vocals higher in the mix and dropped some of the low-mids (compressed bass and low chunky guitars). I don't have the new HomePod 2 though so can't speak to that.

I listen to all genres of metal and it sounds good. Just depends on what’s playing. Bought the HomePod today. I like it. I don’t know why people are complaining so much.

"the parchment" by iron maiden sounds great on 2 Homepods minis without bass reduction.
but this songs sounds great if one has braces radio interference.
