Hey there, Im in the market for a new job now. Before my last job, I checked out the apple site for job opps. at my local apple store, but alas, none were available. However, there are several positions open now. I applied on apple.com to be a Mac Specialist. So I was wandering, does anybody here work at an apple store as a Mac Specialist? And if so, can you give me any pointers if i have an interview?

Thanks.

Technically no current official apple genius can post here... violates the NDA.

You might get an answer from a former genius.

I was in the interview process (and probably going to get hired) a week ago, and was denied the job because i'm 17. I was also applying to be a mac specialist
Pointers:
Be outgoing and engaging
If there is a seminar, make sure you make an impression on the manager/staff
eye contact

Oh wow, so was the reason you weren't hired specifically because you are 17? Because I'm 17 too, and I'm hoping you don't have to be 18 to work there. If so, that'd suck.

People here have said that they have hired people under 17, but i had no such luck. I emailed several people looking for an answer, including steve himself, but no responses yet :D
