Well I'm going to get a 21.5" iMac instead of the 13.3" MacBook Pro and was wondering if there are any good MUST-HAVE accessories? Thank you for your time and help.

I would recommend getting yourself a Battery Backup, a high quality external HD for backup and AppleCare. Those are things I'd start with.

wow you have the whole team :D
one thing you might want to add is the wireless magic mouse, if it s not already in the box.
have fun

External hdd
Wait till a refresh with ssd and lion

Yeah, this may seem lame but I probably won't be able to afford it/ save up for it until next christmas but I like to plan ahead cause I have my own form of OCD where everything has to be planned and perfect

Well Lion should be a big deal, but I'm sure you'll get a free upgrade.
The only real accessory I would suggest is a USB plug in for TV on ur Mac.

The best iMac accessory is definitely an iPad. It makes your mac into a server that deals out video and music to any room of the house. With Apple TV and Airplay, it is even better.

+1. The second best is a powered, 7-port USB Hub. You will need the extra ports.

I started with my base level 21.5" iMac in August. I love my Magic Trackpad (great for scrolling as I do a lot of reading online; not as great for dragging items across the screen).

I also use a 2 TB external hard drive for back ups. I don't recommend the Apple Remote - I returned the first one I purchased after just a few weeks, and soon I will return the replacement. They just don't work after a few weeks.

Wireless keyboard, Magic Trackpad and a fantastic magical Apple battery charger so you don't spend (even more of) a fortune buying Duracells. Docks for your iPhones and iPods.

Oh, and a wired Xbox 360 pad to play some games with.

:apple:

I'd recommend the Apple Remote. Had no problems with it and its a must for Plex.

I've had several Apple Remotes .... back in the days of the white plastic ones you often for a free one with your computer. Currently have one of the new aluminum ones .... bought it when they first came out. I still have all of the old ones and they all work perfectly !!

In my opinion one " MUST HAVE " accessory is that APPLE CARE warranty.

You may never have to use it, but the one time you do it will pay for itself!!!!
