Try MPlayer. It will play video smoothly that vlc stutters on.
You can use VLC. Chroma was actually better than Coreplayer. I had it on a G3 and could play any avi video I could get.
Did you try the codecs for Quicktime I uploaded?

How would i go about installing these?
Unpack them and move them to the Library->Quicktime Folder.
I dont have that folder... its not the regular or the user folder one.

Look at the attachment. That's where the 'Quicktime' folder is.
