What? You don't seem to know what you're talking about.

VLC is a piece of software that plays nearly every codec. It plays them better than Quicktime.

Coreplayer can play even higher bitrate H264 formatted videos, but isn't supported nor sold anymore, has not yet been cracked or hacked, and also every so often displays sections of video as garbled crap since it hasn't been worked on in seven years.

Quicktime/VLC/Coreplayer = software that plays the codecs.

If you got an old Mac, stick to older video codecs to watch that are less compressed/less quality but more disk space, the slower CPU in a slower G4/G3 can handle it. So stick to plain MPEG4 MP4 files, etc, not H264/JVT/AVC formatted codecs (codecs being the format of encoding on the video file that the video playing software plays back to you.)

Don't awake the beast... Last time I linked to his blog he wined about being linked to in this forum. ;)

I'll keep that in mind. For some reason, "Anonymous" commented on one of his posts saying that I was Taylor Almond. Apparently from his stats, he could tell that the commenter was one the few trustworthy MR members, and "I'll have to take his word over yours". This is despite the fact that his stats show that Taylor is in Missouri, and I am in Iowa. He said that the two locations could just be a proxy, but went on to brag that using the stats he could tell if people were using a proxy.

Don't ask me.

He does have good content when he is not making enemy/friend/superhero lists.

Yes he does. It's a shame, really.

The Taylor-mixup: He's a bit too paranoid for his own good, I don't know if he's allright to be honest. But anyway, I'm not a big fan of talking about someone that can't defend themselves so I'll leave it at that. :) Sorry OP for going off topic!
