Any new imac owners wish they would have held out for nMP?

I was holding out all year for a nMP but I finally broke down when the new imacs were announced and got my 3.5 i7 in October. After using it for 2 months and pondering all the prices and reviews to date on the nMP I have to say - for me I made the right choice! It would take 2X the $$$ in nMP to do better and I still haven't driven my current machine past 40% CPU doing the most demanding pro audio!

How are others doing?

i waited for the nMP and now I'm still stuck between a quad mac pro with d700 or a maxed iMac, the fact i can put a 4k display on the mac pro is whats making it hard as i notice the (still good) iMac displays pixellation after being used to all these retina displays and this is the closest thing to a retina iMac

It would take 2X the $$$ in nMP to do better?

so you can upgrade the iMac twice in the life span you were planning
