Hi, I am thinking of getting a new iPod touch.

It seems that we need to buy the 3.0 software separately.

Is there any new version of iPod Touch coming soon with 3.0 software ?

Historically Apple updates iPods in September for the holiday shopping season. The 3.0 software will not be included until new models come out in September.
