iPod touch Any news about the ipod touch 5g?

I was wondering, will there be a ipod touch 5g this year or next year? The thing is I don't mind waiting but my friend wants to buy a new ipod touch, since his ipod touch 2nd gen is getting laggy.

Any news if it be out this year?
