As the title said really - i've got a 128gb rMBP from 2015 and would like to upgrade the internal SSD - already got a 128gb low profile SD card and 128GB USB stick in it!

Doesn't look like any 3rd parties make them still - is that right?

Not entirely true. We just purchased a 1TB drive to upgrade a 2013 15" MBP here at work from MCE. The price made my eyes water , but they do have upgrades available. I'm assuming that they are just rebranding Apple service parts. At the cost you would incur I'd buy a new machine with the storage you actually need and sell the old one.

- Those are not third party drives. They're just reselling original Apple modules. Those have always been for sale from various places.

In other words, you got the underlined part right.
