Im going to give this a go in a minute on my 3G, i was wondering what this means though

All you need is the latest iOS 4.1 firmware for iPhone 3G or iPod touch 2G (non-MC Models)

What does non-MC Model mean?

Yea, if you run Redsn0w beta on 4.1 final on an iPhone 3G your phone will be a mess. Lots of documentation on it, even a thread here in MR Hacks.
