Are the devs working on a fix ? Also any official site for summerboard so we can look when the update comes out? The only thing that appears to need to be fix is a little tweaking to the system files.

can you edit the arrangement of icons with summerboard? if not is it possible to write a app for the ipod that could rearrange the icons?

I tried installing it but I screwed up my iPod doing so. I must've made a little mistake and now it won't boot passed the Apple sign. Uh oh. I'll probably just wait till it comes out on Installer. What version is this? The one on installer.app is 2.11.

I didn't have to worry about it, just followed the instructions and it worked fine. What I want to know is:
I like the leopard background, but I like the Photos, Youtube and Installer icons from the Louie Mantia Theme. I also like the Weather and Stocks icons from the Panther theme. Is there a way to combine them all?
Just a quick heads up, before the manual install, install Summerboard (2.1.1) off of Installer then overwrite the files with the newer ones.

In the summerboard prefs, turn off theme icons.
EDIT: Never mind, I've figured it out now. To 'overwrite' the summerboard icons with the originals, you find them in /applications/whateverapplication, it's the icon.png file. You then go to the Icons folder for the summerboard theme, find and copy the icon.png file to this folder on the touch, and then rename icon.png to whatever app it is. Reboot the iPod and it overwrites it. It now looks like this:

But when you say the install Summerboard 2.1.1 do you actually mean 2.1?
Use the one located at the Summerboard website. It will require a manual install.
Im still getting the dock on the top of the screen.
