Before I install IOS 8, I want to know if anybody has experienced any performance issues on older (i.e. iPhone 5S) hardware? i.e. any difference in responsiveness?

I feel that it is a valid question because this has been known to happen before on my iPhone 4.

I did a fresh install & some animations feel choppier. But iPhone 5s is perfectly usable. I'm just still used to iOS animations with iPhone 5 and iOS 6.

I think performance on my iPhone 5s is largely the same. I haven't really noticed a difference one way or another, once it settled in.

What I noticed is that a mostly-idle phone is going through battery unlike I've seen previously. My iPad Mini retina/Verizon is doing the same. Noticeably warmer with the screen on, too, like the CPU is busy more often.

I haven't noticed any performance changes. All I've noticed is a bunch of appreciated improvements. To be fair, I haven't even looked at the thing all day. I've been answering all my calls from my machines :p
