Any of you pre-order from Apple AND a carrier at the same time?

After finding out you cannot add additional lines on the AT&T NEXT plan through the apple website that only leaves able to order one phone through apple on my main line, which is mine. I would like to order that one on Apples website since it is usually much quicker and less chance of error going straight through Apple as it has proven in years past.

There should not be an issue with my upgrading my main line on the Apple website, then going to AT&T website and adding additional lines immediately afterwards correct?

Unless Apple doesnt allow pre-orders like last year, but i doubt that will happen again.

With the absolute mayhem accompanying pre-orders and slammed servers I think it's impossible to tell... but the more complicated your situation the less likely you'll have success IMHO.

You need to make it as simple as possible as the servers will be in overload and having Apple servers talk to the AT&T servers could be the kiss of death!

When the iPhone 5S was introduced I got one the day of introduction a 10am from Apple. But when I drove by the AT&T store there was no line I was able to walk right in the store and get the 5S at 9:30 without waiting.

There will be lines for the 6
