Hey all! Using an M1 Pro 14" MBP in a docking setup and wondering if there's anywhere that the rated lifespan of the HDMI port is stated. I am docking/undocking about once a day on average, but occasionally 3-4 times, and hoping that the port will outlast the useful life of the laptop in this workflow. Thanks in advance.

Any official rating for HDMI port insertions on 14" MBP?

Nothing official from Apple. But a quick search reveals 2,000 - 10,000 for HDMI ports. Knowing Apple, they probably use high-quality ones. So let's say it's rated for 6,000 times. That's 16 years of one insert/withdraw per day.
