You're the one that said you tried a different sim and my guess would be that you might have broken something, when playing with the sim cards.

So you have an iPhone locked to AT&T.

Let's go through what you're seeing

Insert AT&T SIM: Everything works.
Insert non-AT&T SIM: stuff gon goof up

And now the expected behaviour:

Insert AT&T SIM: Everything works.
Insert non-AT&T SIM: stuff gon goof up

isn't it the same problem just worded differently - it's locked to at&t and now it knows you've jailbroken it. 'may be damaged' is just a polite way of saying may be jailbroken no?

The 'quickest' way to help you 'fast' is to suggest stealing an iPhone already locked to the service provider of your non at&t sim - especially if the shops are closed where you are.

(just kidding - don't steal stuff - it's unhealthy)

if something is broken as you said so
how i was able to activate with his orginal at&t sim
when i restore it
