So I have an early 2015 MBA and today when I was charging it was playing a flash game it suddenly just cut off and stopped charging

The charger was no longer charging it and once I was able to boot it back up the battery indicator has an X on it and the fans are on full blast and will not turn off no matter what I do

Update I ran the diagnostics test says i need a new battery with a cycle count of only 7 I find that ridiculous

If the battery is broken then it doesn't matter one whit how many cycles it's been through.

You have a point but for the 3rd time this year I’m sending in a macbook air for repair its getting very annoying

How many MBAs do you have and what has gone wrong with them?

I’ve had two the first one I dropped and the casing was damaged so i paid for it to be replaced for $280 the logic board went bad supposedly and needed to be replaced they instead shipped me a new 2015 model to replace my 2014 with bad logic board and now this 2015 has a battery issue its really just pissing me off that i had a 2010 MBP no problems ever occurred it was just to heavy and slow and needed to be replaced

Sounds like you might not have had any problems with your 2014 either if you hadn't dropped it.

When you say your current laptop won't turn off no matter what you do, have you tried holding down the power button until it turns off?

No no the fans wouldn't turn off but it's just a defensive mechanism that apple put in place in case there is an issue with the MacBooks
