any Opinions please

I am contemplating between an iPad and macbook air. I have an opportunity to purchase a 64g iPad2 with wifi/3g for $450 or i found an iPad3 32g with just wifi for $615. I only would be using it for surfing, email, light photo editing and apps. I have read on here that some people use there iPads more than there laptops for portability. Just don't want to waste the money on iPad if I should hold out for the macbook air

I have both and in all honesty, the only time I grab the MacBook is when I need to do heavy photo editing or graphic design. (my job)

If you are talking about 'light' photo editing or just touch ups, I think the iPad would be great for you!
