Any OS X options need to be set for SSD upgrade?

I would like to upgrade a MacBook Pro from the stock 320Gig drive to an Intel X25-M. Is there anything special I need to set in Leopard to optimize it for SSD? Also, defragmenting is completely unnecessary with SSD drives, does Leopard defrag automatically and if so is there a way to disable that?
