Have you given Chikoo a go? Its very effective for organising lots of different sorts of files &c. and you can drag and drop to import into it.
What sort of things did you have in mind? I use Bento for some databasey things and Chikoo for others- I know there's an overlap which either could handle but its use and preference I suppose.
Incidentally, Chikoo is an excellent price for what you can do with it and their support is excellent (should say I'm not connected to the company but have received some amazing support from them), definitely recommend giving the trial a go!
