Hi,

I'm pretty interested in video editing and was wondering if there was a free video editer that could do more than imovie.

It doenst even have to do more than imovie just a different app for video editing for the mac that i may like?

Any suggestions are welcome.

If you find something, it wont be free, but more like a free trial for 30 days. in my oppinon, if you are just starting with video editing, iMovie is a great app, its fairly simple but has a lot more power compared to other basic editing programs.

I use Avid Free DV. Once you download it, you can use it forever. It's basically a toned down version of the full version, with less effects and transitions. It's free though, and it works well.

I was going to suggest Avid as well.

And if you ever intend to make a career out of this, that'll look really good on your resume.
