Hi,
As a previous user of Windows, the performance tool was handy for me to see how's going on my computer, like If everything is going okay but while in macbook I just keep guessing about the things that happens, like there was once an unexpected shutdown (after the fan update, annoying fan noise and shut down, later totally fine ) So I was wondering If there are any easy tools that I can use as a check up ?

Thanks :apple:

You have Activity Monitor which gives you stats about CPU/RAM/network usage, you have the Console which shows you the logs of system messages (if you experience some problem with the system, look here) - these are the easiest to use.

I think that Intel® Power Gadget is really informative. For example, here is a shot of what my MacBook Pro is running like when CPU use is a steady 700% while running my folding program.
