Hi,

Thinking about upgrading my Apple Watch Series 2 to the Series 7. I bought the Nike version so have the Nike strap and also bought the space black Milanese loop. I'm looking to reuse as many of my straps as possible so trying to figure out which version of the watch to get.

Does anyone have any pictures of the graphite stainless steel watch with the space black Milanese band? Does it go well together or is it really off? Same question for Midnight as well.

Thanks in advance

Tony

I got the Nike Midnight. I'd say it's definitely blacker than my previous Nike aluminum watches.

But good call. Def have to check out the milanese and link bracelet to see how they look on this.

Thanks - I saw an open box 45mm midnight at Best Buy that I just ordered so will test this next week with the Milanese.

The Titanium Space black calls out to me but it's obviously much more expensive and back ordered until mid-December. Silver stainless steel doesn't seem to pair well with my existing bands based on the photos on this forum I've seen and the silver Milanese is too flashy for me (I also have a nice silver Tag Heuer watch that I use for special events). This leaves the graphite Apple Watch (I've seen it ready to ship at a few places online) but the graphite Milanese band feels duplicative with my space black Milanese so wondering if I should get a different band or pull the trigger on this setup. Midnight seems like it could work as well so going to give that a try too plus much much cheaper and maybe I'll upgrade again in a couple of years (my usual cadence for apple products).

Ironically, I went with the Nike Series 2 Aluminum Apple Watch many years ago after a Fitbit that couldn't last six months without breaking cause I figure I'd use it for 2 years and move on but it's been running steadily and haven't seen much of a reason to upgrade till now. Only reason I'm buying a new one is that it's gotten noticeably slow and sometimes glitchy over the years so I think this is a good year to upgrade with the new watch face size.
