Hey all.

I just got burned by https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XU6PM68/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 this accessory for my new MacBook Pro (2017) 13 inch

I love Anker and I've used them for any and all charging cables, but I expected this to be plug n play.
It works after you dig for the install software, but even then, I'm having big issues with starting the OS for some reason.

I would rather just have a plug n play option. Anyone know of any?

Ive been using that Anker hub for awhile now and I haven't had any problems with it on my 2016 15" mbp. I didn't have to install any drivers and it works plug-and-play.

I've only used it while my mbp is plugged in to the charger though connected to LAN and a kb/m and external he'd in the USB slots. Some of the comments I've seen about seem to be related to wifi issues while on battery power.

Then again there may be differences between 2016/17 models. When I was testing out a 2017 27" iMac I couldn't get my USB-c to hdmi adapter to work on it even though it works fine on my 2016 mbp.
