I did a few searches but no one could find any type of predicted family data plan schemes. I predicted in early 2011 that AT&T would change their 2Gb/$25 data plan to $30/2.5Gb and they did change it to $30/3Gb.

Anyways I predict that the family data plans will be something like this:
5Gb/$50 for the first two lines
Every extra line will be and extra $20/line without any extra data allowance
Data overages will stay at $10/Gb

Does this seem plausible? What's your input and how do you think AT&T and Verizon will make the new data plans? I'm looking forward to this because my work is taking me off their plan and just giving me a monthly credit to get my own phone and my wife and I will be able to have a family plan and hopefully same some cash.

Forgot to mention that because of family data I may able share data with my iPad! I have the 3rd gen wifi version but if the family data plans are any good I might just upgrade to a 4G iPad

I hope its actually called "Shared Data" plans. I have multiple devices and no family.
