Any problem using original iphone usb power adapter with new 3gs phone?

If it's ok, would charging time be the same?

By original do you mean 2g or 3g? The 2g chargingaccessories do not work with the 3g, it has a different pinout. I'm not sure about 3g-> 3gs though

2g iphone usb power adapter, and the dock as well (if it's modded to fit)

My 2G plug / wall charger works fine for the iPhone 3GS... every cable I've gotten with an iPod has worked fine with all my Apple products (2 different Gen iPods, iPhone 2G and iPhone 3GS) Maybe some actual accessories don't work, like stereos, video out cables, etc, but the actual Apple cables work just fine for charging and transferring to a computer no matter what device it's in...

unless my phones on the dock in my bedroom, i usually just pick up any ipod cord i see laying around since theres about a million in my house and they all work fine. I have my iPod cable from my first gen Mini pluged into my mac mini and i've never had problems. an ipod cord is an ipod cord. all the connectors are the same.
