I'll wait for more Photo and video pro reviews myself. Most of the ones I have been reading simply say what is expected, but breeze over the performance issues with the MBP compared to other notebooks in it's class.

I wanna see how this thing will handle pro apps on battery power. All of the test done so far turn the 9600 off, churn down the processor, and probably run some apps off RAM and park the drive heads.

I wanna see Motion 3, Color, and FCP up and running while batch converting some AVCHD files in compressor with screen brightness turned all the way up and see how long the batt lasts.
