yippy macrumors 68020 Mar 14, 2004 2,087 3 Chicago, IL Jun 4, 2006 #2 iTunes will do this. Set the import settings to 128bit MP3 and then select all the songs to be converted. Choose the Advanced -> Convert to MP3. However, this will result in a lower quality recording than re-ripping into 128bit as compressed->compressed conversions are very lossy.
