Any programs to download photos from camera other than iphoto?

I dont like iphoto b/c it makes you d'led every single image...is there a program that doesnt do that for pics? I like the pc's interface better where you can just go directly to the camera folder and drag pics.

Open Image Capture, press "Cmd+," to open the prefences menu. There should be a preference there to idicate what to do when a camera is attached (open iPhoto, Image Capture, or nothing).

And yes, it is silly to have this in image capture but not iPhoto).

You can do that through Finder. However, I've read that some Canon cameras don't allow Finder access, but that's not a fault of OSX.

I don't bother with cabling up to the camera at all. A $15 flash card reader for the Mac, and pop the memory card into the reader, it shows up just like a drive. Way faster.
