Okay, I'll admit I've been away from the forums for a little too long, but I have no idea what you're talking about.

From what I remember, latex was involved in some of the earliest social networking, but I'm not sure how applicable that is to the iPad.

I could be wrong, but pretty sure OP must be referring to http://www.latex-project.org/ and not any kind of social networking service (?) or any kind of natural or synthetic rubber material.

I presume you mean LaTex for typing equations. If so then do a search for TeX Equation. I used the app successfully for typing equations in Pages. Its nicer to use too if you have the multi-tasking that comes with 4.2GM.

We use latex for writing all our scientific papers and reports. It would be nice to see it on iPad but only if it ran well and could compile quickly.
