I am debating to return my Series 7 that I have with Spectrum and just keeping the Series 6 that I bought a year ago from Apple up front. Is their any difference between the two that I would miss? Other then 1 inch bigger.

If you want something new then your best is to bring them back and wait for a new design with new features, most likely next year. If you like the current design and you want to use them for another couple of years then it is better to choose the series 7

I think there are some exclusive watch faces for the series 7 as well.

I think you answered your own question. You have been using your series 6 for a year and seems like series 7 for some time. If you are not able to see any difference (apart from bigger screen) then that means there isn't much of a difference for your use case. It may be "worth it" or "different" for others, but their use cases may be different.

Heck I realized that after having my series 6 SS for a year, and just recently finding a good deal on a series 5 titatnium (I keep multiple watches at the same time), I want to sell my series 6 and keep the 5 titanium. For my use case, they are the same (faster isn't a big need for me, faster charging is fine as I have multiple watches so I am not waiting for one to charge, and extra sensors are something I don't care for much). Visually, I like the 5 titanium (natural titanium) much better and keep finding myself preferring to put that on daily. So why not just recoup some cost. So I am most probably going back to my series 5 as the main watch after having 6 for a year.

I’m still using my SS 4 for daily and my Ceramic S2 as my overnight heart rate tracker. Keep looking at the Titanium 7’s and just not enough cost benefit over my current setup until the battery life stops lasting a day. I track my daily walks and keep tabs on my heart rate throughout the day, track my calories, complete my rings everyday, manage my email notifications (which I have a love/hate thing with—wish I didn’t have to scroll to the very bottom of emails to get the Delete button and other buttons as well), occasionally set a timer when I’m cooking, occasionally complete reminders and calendar events, or the rare text message.
I’d basically get blood oxygen sensor, AOD, bigger screen, quick charge, and fresh and new battery.

I noticed less lagginess when upgraded from 5 to 7, but after having the watch for a week, I am not sure I even notice the larger and brighter screen anymore though.

No buyers remorse however.

That happened to me too. But then when I went back to my 44mm (doing yard work) I could’ve swore it was the smaller 40mm watch.

I’m curious do you know if the older watch faces automatically ‘extend’ to the edge of the series 7’s larger display?
Or do only exclusive watch faces take advantage of this?

I don‘t know about „automatically“, but as far as I can see all „modern“ watch faces (i.e. those introduced from S4 onwards) have indeed been re-worked to take advantage of the bigger screen of the S7.

I don’t suspect Series 6 owners are being targeted by the Series 7, because it is a rather incremental update. If it were me, I probably would make that return and just wait to see what the next revision is. The people that seem to be the most content with upgrades to the Series 7, are those that were previous owners of the Series 3.

I’d wager the majority of consumers don’t upgrade a smart watch until about every three years.

But I will say this, I do think Apple needs to step it up a bit with the Series 8 and not offer just more ‘heath related features’, but some type of structural update for the watch itself (I.e- A larger model, the ‘rumored flat-edge design’ would’ve been unique, ect.)
