I currently have an iPhone 4 with 4.3 loaded on it, I suppose I'm lucky when my plan from Rogers lets me do Personal Hotspot at no extra cost (yet I pay $8 for Call Display...go figure)

I have been eyeballing an Apple TV and just had a simple question. If I take it to a friends house to show pictures from my iPhone, can the Apple TV connect to my iPhone WiFi hotspot and stream the pictures via WiFi? I realize this wouldn't be as fast as a "normal" WiFi Connection but is there any reason that it wouldn't work?

Thanks

Probably not. any reason you cant jump on his wifi network? Just connect both phone and atv to it and away you go.

As long as you are carting a bunch of crap over there anyway might as well bring yours.
