During my time in college, I really relied on Internet sharing to connect all of my game consoles and my iPhone to Wi-Fi. My hall did not have Wi-Fi so this really was amazing. In the Fall, I will be moving to a different hall. A lot of my friends lived in that hall last year. They also tried to do Internet sharing, but it never worked for them, even when I walked them through how to do it. The difference in Internet between my previous room and the one I'm moving into is that this other hall has Wi-Fi which they newly installed last year. This Wi-Fi though is only compatible with computers and iOS devices, nothing else. Is it possible that my campus can block the ability for people to do Internet sharing, or is it more likely that my friends were not doing it right? I really don't see any reason why it can't work. What could be the cause? Also, for those who have the OS X Mountain Lion developer's preview, it has Internet sharing right? I'm sure it does, but just want to make sure.
