Does upgrading to iOS 16 (from 15) result in any drastic changes, or break any apps or current functionality? Or will everything still look the same and be in the same place?

If you have parallax lock screens, those won't work that way any longer. Can't think of anything else that is broken. Notifications won't be in exactly the same place but that's of no moment. They work the same generally.

It's posts like Amtyvle's that are making me hesitant to update my phone for the first time in a long while. BTW, I have not updated my iPads to iPadOS 15 because I hate how 15 looks on them and love the layout (home screen especially) on 14.8.

The new Lock Screen feature doesn’t seem to work on IPhone 8 Plus. I can create a customise Lock Screen but can’t tap and hold / swipe…..
