I quite liked the Acer H277HU but after the hassle of our friends in another thread I think I'll skip it.

Whilst I like the LG displays on the Apple site, they're a little bit too above my price range.

I wondered if anyone had recommendations that would work, flawlessly, with my 2017 13" MacBook Pro?

Thanks

Dell is a good option for quality/price equation.

4K is great but to get the HDPI mode you´ll have to work in 1920x1080 and for mi opinion, everything looks too big.

I used to have the U2515H (25 inch 2560x1400) and was really good, also comes in 27 but the 25 looks sharper because is the same amount of resolution in a smaller screen size.

Looks like a damn good display. Unfortunately I think USB-C is the way to go.

I would not recommend a 5k display as the scrolling stutters too frequently. It's too underpowered. A 4k display would be fine, though. I hear a Dell 27" 4k is the way to go. Just get a 4k IPS display from LG or Dell and it should be acceptable.

Perhaps this one: https://www.amazon.com/LG-24UD58-B-24-Inch-Monitor-FreeSync/dp/B01LPNKFK0/ref=sr_1_2?s=pc&rps=1&ie=UTF8&qid=1522727801&sr=1-2&refinements=p_85:2470955011,p_n_size_browse-bin:3547806011,p_89:LG

Great tip thanks!

I should add that the 15" mbp 2016 or 2017 seems to be sufficiently powered. the 13" are not in many people's opinions, certainly not at higher resolutions.
