I'm 31, and plan to go to school, part-time, in the winter, spring or summer. I know I'm going to totally bomb the math placement exam, so I want to learn (or freshen up on) as much as I can now. The last thing I want to do is pay a small fortune taking math classes for the next two years until I meet their standards for a BS in CS. I'll get bored quickly and likely drop out.

I'm looking for instruction on all levels of high school math. Anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

Pick up some cheap used textbooks on Amazon or something.

Obviously; though I'd prefer software, so I don't need to lug books to work everyday, in addition to my laptop and other job staples.

I saw a lot of Windows software on Amazon that cover all levels of high school math. I was just hoping that someone here would be familiar with a Mac equivalent.

I suppose that I could just use some of the many random math websites, but I'd like an "unplugged" option, if possible.

Thanks
