I've got my plan almost down for what I'm going to buy when I make the big switch in a few weeks.
Here's what I've got planned to buy (education discount):
I don't really want to spend much more money, and the only upgrade I'm considering is the 80GB HDD, which would be $45. I will be using the MacBook mainly for browsing the Internet, a bit of word processing, a bit of video editing (probably with iMovie).
Also, I'm using the AirPort with AirTunes in my room to extend my wireless network (currently using a Netgear WGR614 v4), allow me to stream to the Creature IIs using AirTunes, and allow me to print wirelessly to the Canon PIXMA (I'm currently checking compatibility in the Peripherals forum). The AP Express Base Station can tie in to my existing wireless network, right? Also, will I be able to share files and printers within the wireless network? Here's a diagram of what I'm proposing:
Netgear WGR614 v4 Wireless Router <---> AirPort Express Base Station

I know, it's about as clear as mud, but it's the best I could do. Further questions are welcome.
Thanks.
