I want to pick up a screen protector asap but the Spigen ones off Amazon won't arrive until next Saturday for me. Are there any affordable ones on Amazon that come with the same type of guide/applicator tray? I don't like the ones that come with most cheaper ones on Amazon because with my XS Max the plastic scratched the bezel.

I went looking for the Spigen ez fit ones on Amazon as well since I had them for my 11PM, for some reason Amazon/Spigen has decided that thay wont ship the new ones to Sweden even when they did the old ones. So I ordered EGV tempered glass screen protectors of Amazon instead they seem to have the same style applicator tray.

AT&T and they will install them for free.

bodyguardz is great imo. i got this one bodyguardz edge to edge

came with a tray, covers the whole screen. only opening is the speaker/hearing grill. i had a belkin on my 11 pro max and this is much better. wider and no cutout for the notch.

ESR comes with a tray.
+1

Also the ESR tempered glass covers the entire screen including notch area, with just a cut-out for the speaker. My old Spigen tempered glass for my XS was like that and it was great, never interfered with FaceID either. Spigen now has the notch (cut-out) on their screen protectors which I don't like.

Worth the extra money??
for me, yes. don’t really notice its on there. ultra smooth and the fact that it covers completely is nice. i like it much better than the ones that have a cutout where the notch is. less noticeable. and it comes with a lifetime guarantee. i haven’t ever contacted bodyguardz customer service, but they have been in business for years. i used to buy, years ago, their plastic protectors. i would cover the back of my phones with their protectors. old school protectors that i would apply with water.

Does it have the black edge? Thanks!

Can you take a picture of the Bodyguardz screen protector? Would love to see how the edge to edge compare to Spigen etc. Thanks!

Could you also take a picture of the installation tray? Was it easy to install? There’s a real dearth of information on this even though it might be the best one out there.

Just got mine and installed it with the tray perfectly. I wish it didn’t have the notch and it wasn’t so slippery making it harder to type. Other then that it fits well.

I bought the ESR this time around. Like you said perfectly covers with no notch cut out and no black ring. The tray made the installation simple. And I bought it off of Amazon for $16.99 for 3 protectors and next day delivery.

Could you speak on the glass quality itself as far as feel, touch, and fingerprints are concerned?

It feels great to me. Nothing like a new screen protector. It’s smooth to the touch. I can’t say how long the oleophobic coating will last as this is my first time with ESR. However, I usually change out protectors a couple of times a year to get that new feel again. And for the price, I have 2 spares to do so.

I agree. I had this for my last phone and the coating didn't seem to deteriorate.
