It often happens, latest software on both devices. Pretty annoying when the watch is right next to the phone.

Have you tried re-pairing the watch and iPhone to see if that rectifies the issue.
Same issue. Sorry I didnt see your post. I would have just joined this one. I set it up as New and still didn’t work. Support wants send it in for a repair, but I am not real excited about that.
Tried this right after you suggested it. I tried the easier stuff before that, airplane, bluetooth on/off, restarting watch.
Re-pairing seems to have fixed the issue for now, didn't have another encounter.
It worked for me for maybe a day. It then went back. Hope yours works.
Did the Apple Store acknowledge this kind of issue? Are they replacing your watch?
I can't easily reproduce the issue if i go to the store :/
