Having a very frustrating time with my Macbook and multiple monitors.
I have 3 monitors connected to Macbook 2020 with Big Sur (but the issue was also with High Sierra)
I assign certain apps to certain displays and desktops.
But when I come out of sleep, they never remember the positions, they always come back to my Macbook monitor, and I have to drag them bag and resize them. Not all the time, sometimes they are OK, but often they are not.
It may be due to the third monitor I have sometimes taking several minutes to wake up. I had this issue on 3rd party adapters, but bought Apple's own HDM and VGA adapter the other day and the issue still exists on there. Maybe a monitor issue.
I dont mind waiting a few minutes rather than buy a new monitor, but only if the apps stay on there and not come back to the Mac.
I wondered what the best software is I can assign apps to desktops and keep them there, OR at least with a press of a button it would move them all into the right places after they do all come back to my Macbook display.
