Any sound when tapping on icons?

When tapping an app icon on the home scree, does your phone make a responsive sound? All phones do this right? Mine is complete silent, the only sounds I get from my phone is the alerts, notifications and when I'm typing.

I've checked all the setting to make sure the do not disturb is off, sounds are on, etc. I'm out of ideas.
Not sure why my phone isn't making sounds when I tap on the home screen!

There are no responsive sounds when pressing an app.

No there is no sounds when tapping the screen (icons, menu buttons etc).

Thank you for clarifying! I came from the Note 3 and there's sound for every icon/selection. Got used to it. Lol
Is this new? Did the previous have sound?
