who was it that was selling the original IPad for $300? are any other stores still selling them for that price or is it more around $400. I'm guessing once they're gone they're gone?

Today I was at Best Buy and Target, both still had the Original iPad, though it wasn't something I was looking for so I didn't pay attention to the price.

My local BB and Target stores still have them in stock as well.

Apple Stores, no.
BB, Target, etc yes. I think Target did have it discounted. I got an open-box 32GB at&t iPad 1 for $520. Never registered, perfect screen, back was flawless..person had it for a few days only. Likely taking it back inside 14 days to go back to trying to find a 2 with a non-janky screen.

Verion Wireless retail stores (not the private owned branches) sold the iPad 16GB wifi for $299 (or $322.49 after tax here in Arkansas). The iPad 32GB dropped to $399 and the 64GB version down to $499.

I bought one of the 16GB versions as an impulse buy the day the price dropped, but my mother and younger brother really liked it, so it became theirs. I was lucky enough to find another on April 1st this month when the Verizon rep from the same store called me to let me know one of the units on reserve was never picked up. I've heard that the 16GBs are sold out in Verizon around the country, but you might still be able to pick up a 32GB version for $399 or try a price match. On a very rare circumstance, maybe even find a 16GB at Verizon...
