Any success with a flash drive?

Has anyone had any success with doing a fresh install via a flash drive? There are already a few thread stating that they are getting an error message. If this is the case, I may just download Mountain Lion over Lion then reinstall it via the partition which now has Mountain Lion. If you could post your results, that would be great.

No problems here. It seems to work better if you restore the mounted drive instead of the actual dmg file. Not sure why, but Lion had the same issue.
