I'm looking for a monitor to attach to my 2010 13'' MacBook Pro so I can use Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Firework. I just upgraded to 8GB RAM and 250GB SSD.

Wanted to see if anyone could suggest which monitor to buy without paying an arm and a leg--with an overwhelming number of monitors to choose from, it's hard to for me narrow it down. I don't want to make the same mistake when I bought a 32'' flatscreen tv, the colors were way off and we couldn't get the screen to brighten up. It was unbearable to watch any movies on it.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I've always loved ASUS and Dell monitors.

If you're looking for affordable Asus are great and they have 3 year warranty, as well as good customer service. Something was wrong with it and within days they sent a new one to me. Very happy with them.
